SINGLE ROTOR HAMMER MILL TYPE "ROTOUNO"

MAINTENANCE
All the internal parts are made of wear-resistant materials and can be easily drawn out by opening, by means of the hydraulic system, the wide hinged covers.
The rotation wise is reversible (except in particular cases) and allows to exploit the hammers and armours on both sides without removing.
APPLICATIONS
Grinding at a medium fineness (0 ÷ 5 mm) of low and medium hardness minerals (gypsum, talc, lime, dolomite, clay, coal, etc); chemical products; scraps of brittle manufactured products (for example, waste of bricks).
It is possible to get products with a high percentage of fine particles (with lime and dolomite, for example, up to 80% lower than 1 mm).
For this application, the mill is provided with swinging hammers with shape and sizes suitable for working at relatively high speed (40 ÷ 80 m/s).
It is possible to act on the particle size distribution of the product:
• choosing the most suitable rotation speed,
• varying the grate’s interval,
• varying the grate’s extension (from 60° to 180° of the lower semicircumference) and the armours one. Armours are made of modular elements easily removable.
Crushing of scraps of manufactured products, even with relatively large size.
For this application the mill is fitted with few massive hammers and operates at reduced speed (25÷50 m/s).
Grinding and contemporaneous drying of moist materials by means of hot air or hot gas in let.
Our Technical Service is able to study the necessary operating conditions according to the initial moisture of the material, the available fuel, the desired granulometry.
INSTALLATION
Our Technical Service can provide the engineering to get the best results from the mill, by means of a suitable feeding system which must assure a steady and uniform load, distributed on the whole useful width of the mill, efficient transport of the ground product, the air suction for dedusting in accordance with laws for the protection of environment.
